The Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Education & Faculty Development (VPGEFD) supports and advocates for the interests of graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty members through the efforts of the Office of Graduate Studies, Office of Faculty Affairs, and Office of Postdoctoral Services. And through the work of the Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning, VPGEFD enhances the teaching and learning environment at Georgia Tech by encouraging a fully engaged, sharing community with resources and innovative programs to support the campus community and a positive learning environment.

Three finalists are currently under consideration for the vice provost for Graduate Education and Faculty Development position. Selection of the new vice provost is expected in early June.
About the Vice Provost for Graduate Education and Faculty Development
Reporting to the provost and executive vice president for Academic Affairs, the VPGEFD is responsible for ensuring the quality and relevance of graduate education and the academic success of graduate students, and for supporting the interests of faculty members and post-doctoral fellows. The VPGEFD will also serve on the president’s Cabinet.
